Polish mime Ireneusz Krosny draws more on the conventions of clowning than of abstract Marcel-Marceau-style white face mime, and his premises are rather generic-a conductor rehearses his orchestra, a dog owner adapts to his pet, a woman removes her finery at evening's end. What renders these vignettes fresh and funny are Krosny's Red Skeleton-like facial expressions and an elegant inventiveness that allows him to embellish yet keep the action free of extraneous material his entire 14 scene, three-encore show runs over an hour. A scene depicting a guest's reactions to a child's cello recital pulled the biggest laugh at the performance I attended, but action-movie fans like me will find the piece entitled "Arnolds arms himself" irresistible." Irek Mukhamedov and Viviana Durante - 'Summer' PDD ('The Four Seasons')
This is film of Irek Muhkamedov and Viviana Durante performing the 'Summer' pas de peux from Kenneth MacMillan 'The Four Seasons'. The music is Giuseppe Verdi. The pair selected this PDD to perform in a Royal Ballet touring company. MacMillan is known as being best in choreographing the pas de deux. And this studio performance somehow lets you get up close and personal with the intricacies of the work.

Irek Mukhamedov and the Royal Ballet
This is film of the Bolshoi Theatre dancer Erik Mukhamedov, who left Russia and went to the West to join the Royal Ballet. Mukhamedov is seen practising alone in class. And then rehearsing 'La Fille mal Gardee' with Sir Anthony Dowell. We observe him rehearsing 'Summer' with Viviana Durante And Sir Kenneth MacMillan chats to camera about choreographing for Mukhamedov and the ex-Bolshoi dancer speaks about the adjusts to his dancing and acting in order to fit within the context of the Royal Ballet.
